What impact is the project going to have on gender and youth?

This programme will improve the performance of the youth in terms of activity and productivity. This will be enhanced by their participation in personal and community activities because of their acquired skills. The girl child will benefit in terms of the home skills acquired and skills for job market.

What Impact is the project going to have on the environment and the climate?

This programme will emphasize green environment to mitigate any negative impact of the activities carried out as result of the skills acquired during the training.

Secondly they will pledge to ensure proper disposal and/or recycle of any waste that is the result of activities done by them.

Impact of the project on the direct beneficiaries?

Learner develop a habit of thrift through mobilizing savings to raise funds for investment Learners acquire Entrepreneurship skills (Employable, Self-Employable, Employer & Investor skills) that enable them to startup productive enterprises for self employment and employment of others.

Learners make informed decisions through career planning.

Learners become responsible citizens who are productive and patriotic.

Monitoring project progress and results

Progress will be monitored through established systems. Each area of training will have a course leader who will report to the course instructor. The course instructor will make regular reports to the programme coordinator who reports to the board.

The performance of the learners will be monitored through roll call, projects planned and executed.

After leaving the school, the mother academy will take up the role of supervising the projects executed for a period not exceeding one year.

At the end of the course learner will be required to submit a business plan for products that they wish to continue with in business and the product will be launched during the trade show.

To ensure that learners practice the skills they have acquired, each term they will be required to write a project proposal and during holidays they execute the project and present a report at the beginning of the new term.
